The analyst must be able to communicate both written and orally effectively and concisely with internal and external customers, as well as vendor resources. The analyst must have an eye to detail, a focus on quality, and demonstrate an ability to garner additional information in conversations with customers and reading documentation.
The analyst will create detailed schedule reports; will be responsible for verifying and checking data before loading it into the system. Analyst will need to troubleshoot data discrepancies and create support and process documentation. Analyst will report directly to the project manager and work closely with other business analysts in a team environment to complete assigned tasks. The analyst may also work support tickets as assigned for data and application support.
Duties and Responsiblities
Work with internal and external clients to resolve data discrepancies and verify data.
Create support documentation using a variety of tools such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Visio.
Identify process improvements for processing data and ensuring quality data.
Work ticket queue as needed to resolve application and service incidents and support issues
Relevant Experience & Skills
1 – 5 years in an analyst or support role
2+ years MS Office
3+ years Excel experience (Must be able to create pivot tables, create lookups and work with macros)
2+ years supporting end users
Must be able to problem solve quickly and efficiently
Creative thinking and implementing solutions
Have a related background and general understanding of Procurement and its role in the corporate structure.
Possess a general understanding of the corporate accounting process.
Demonstrate an ability to analyze complex problems and come up with unique solutions; a consistent commitment to innovation is important.
Must be able to establish and maintain strong personal relationships with the Procurement team; as well as all business partners.
Possess the flexibility to engage and prioritize competing objectives simultaneously.
Be able to effectively operate in an environment with limited managerial oversight.
Must have advanced spreadsheet skills (e.g. pivot tables, V lookups, spreadsheet linking, etc.); as well as intermediate skills in the entire MS Office suite.
Demonstrate professional maturity and an ability to clearly and effectively communicate with others both inside and outside the department.
Looking to establish a long term professional presence as part of the Procurement team; and looking to expand their experience and knowledge.
An understanding of Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine and Primary Care operations is preferred.
Healthcare experience is preferred.
