Procurement Advisor Apache Corp – Houston, TX

Duties:
Overall responsibility for Project Materials Management which includes purchasing, expediting, logistics, spare parts management, warehousing and project material closeout activities that may occur during the engineering and fabrication phases of a project. Provide functional support to projects during the planning phase, up to EPC contract awards. Post-EPC contract awards, and report directly to the project team. May also be called on to fulfill a specific role such as a Logistics Advisor, a Long Lead Equipment Advisor or a Spare Parts Coordinator.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; professional supply chain certification is desired. 10+ years of procurement experience. In-depth knowledge of SAP, Oracle and other ERP systems. Full understanding of Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules.
