My client based within the financial services sector is looking for a Procurement Officer to come on board and join their existing Procurement team. As a Procurement Officer you will have a well established procurement/purchasing background, (ideally procuring HR or Travel or other specialisms) and will have worked in busy and demanding procurement functions previously. This Procurement Officer must have great attention to process and delivery and now be looking for the next challenging career move to make your mark.
Key requirements for the Procurement Officer role are:
Extensive background in procurement/purchasing
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Articulate and intelligent individual who is passionate about procurement
Background in procuring HR, Travel or other CIPS qualification – nice to have although once you have passed your probationary period my client can assist with CIPS qualifications
You do NOT need to have previous Financial Services experience, so this is a great opportunity for an individual to break into this industry sector.
