Direct responsibility for the daily administration of outsourced programs for travel, expense and fleet. Act as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal clients on customer service and process related issues. Provide support with: savings measurement and tracking, contract management, supplier management, supplier service level monitoring, facilitation of supplier and client meetings/reviews.
Direct responsibility for the daily administration of outsourced programs within Global Procurement to include (but not limited to) the categories of travel, expense and fleet management.
Engage with suppliers and clients inquiries to provide solutions; and troubleshoot customer service issues
Identify opportunity for process improvement and cost savings. Lead or support initiatives which result from these opportunities
Manage, and support Global Procurement projects in all categories with priority given to Travel and Fleet
Process monthly invoices inclusive of managing distribution of charges and auditing of bills
Maintain various supplier databases and report distribution
Compile quarterly travel reports with guidance from Travel Services Manager
Lead and support communication efforts through multiple channels ie; Pearson intranet, NEO and other general methods used for communication.
4 year college degree or equivalent preferred. Work experience to be taken into consideration.
Proficiency using MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint
Experience with Sharepoint
Well developed presentation skills
Proficiency with social networking tools and Internet
Capability to manage multiple data sources and reporting tools relating to the outsourced programs.
Versed in problem resolution and follow up
Self-motivated and resourceful
Good organizational and time management skills
Possess good verbal and written communication skills
Travel, Fleet and/or Procurement experience useful but not essential..
Project Management certification or willingness to achieve this is a major advantage
