The BU Procurement Manager, Packaging & POS/equipment is the key BU procurement resource for managing the team that is responsible for the strategic and tactical procurement and delivery of Promo packaging, new product introductions, and POS/equipment, and coupons to production facilities and sales centers within the BU.  This position will focus on managing and developing the team’s strategy with the BU key functional areas as well as implementing processes and innovation to reduce OPEX and increase sales.  Responsibilities include financial accountability to track, rank, and publish budgets versus actual spend,  along with collaborating with BU and Regional CCNA in developing  market strategies with the Business Unit related to national, regional, and local programs to ensure company objectives are achieved.  Additional responsibility will be to insure the management and operations of the custom print shops for the BU, ensuring the financial success of such operations through defined processes across all platforms.  This position will interface with key BU functional areas including BU VP Commercialization, Director Business Development, BU VP Finance, BU VP Sales Ops, Director Manufactoring, Plant Managers, CPP / Demand Managers, Key Account and Sales Managers, CCNA Regional brand and TBT teams to lead the development and implementation of the strategy around promo packaging, new product introductions, and POS/equipment.
Job Responsibilities
  1. Continual educate team and users (Sales or Production) on execution and inventory management of  promotional packaging, POS/equipment, etc.
  2. Manage and develop team.
  3. Develop sourcing strategies with BU, NABU, CCNA and other franchise brand owners to obtain maximum execution with minimal risk.
  4. Manage CCNA/CCL field Market Activation Managers (MAM) through the process of initiating, developing, and executing promotional materials through the CCE system.
  5. Accountable for budgetary and other financial procurement objectives at the local/MU/BU level, including establishing baselines and performance tracking.
  6. Work with sales centers, production facilities, other BUs, corporate and suppliers to consolidate purchasing activity, develop other leveraging opportunities, rationalize product/services listings, improve usage and frequency trends, improve and expand commodity specifications and accuracy and supplier involvement with specification development.
  7. Responsible for the management and operations of the custom print shops for the BU, ensuring the financial success of such operations through defined processes across all platforms.
  8. Train and maintain stakeholders knowledge regarding the packaging and POS nuances, timelines, restrictions, and limitations, to properly align expectations with execution timing.  Participate on Commodity Councils with Corporate Procurement.
  9. Other assignments as Directed by NABU Sr. Manager, Promo & POS (Title TBD) and BU Operation Procurement Director.
Qualifications
EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED

Bachelors Degree Required.  Majors in Accounting, Business or Operations preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Prior work experience of 7-10+ years required.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Prior work experience of 7-10+ years required.
Prefer minimum 2-5 years in Accounting/Finance and/or Procurement and/or Operations experience (preferably with national manufacturer and/or distributor)
