What You’ll Do
As a Supply Management Planner for John Deere in Waterloo, IA, you will manage the day-to-day performance and relationship of a group of suppliers for several assigned commodities to support Central West Regional Procurement Center activities as well as stakeholder requests as they pertain to factory operations.
What It Takes
We need an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management or a similar discipline and/or equivalent work experience. We also require:
Understanding of Order Fulfillment Process.
Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Knowledge of unit processes and operations.
A strong candidate will also have:
Experience in specific areas of Supply Management such as: supplier integration, strategic supply management, supplier development, module supply management, scheduling, forecasting, logistics, etc.
